CONTRACT FOR RESPONSIBLE USE OF INTERNET
All users of the Internet at the Albemarle Regional Library must sign this agreement. Parents/legal guardian/authorized caregivers must co-sign with young adults ages 13 through 17. The signer(s) of this agreement must read the “Internet Acceptable Use Policy”, and agree thereto. The undersigned agrees to assume all responsibility for any use made of said resources and agrees to hold the Albemarle Regional Library, the Counties of Bertie, Gates, Hertford and Northampton, its officers, agents, and employees harmless for any liability or damages arising from or in connection with said use or from any information derived from said use. The undersigned further acknowledges that the Albemarle Regional Library assumes no liability for any loss or damage to user’s data or for any damage or injury sustained from invasion of privacy while using the library’s computers, programs, or files and agrees to hold the Albemarle Regional Library, the Counties of Bertie, Gates, Hertford and Northampton, its officers, agents and employees harmless in the event of such damages or injury.
