Elizabeth Sewell Parker Memorial Library to host
Beginning Genealogy Workshop
Thinking of tracing your family tree? The Elizabeth Sewell Parker Memorial Library of Murfreesboro will host a genealogy workshop designed specifically for beginners. Local researcher, Connie Christison, will teach basic organization, basic terminology, library resources, courthouse records (lands, wills, birth, death, and marriage), cemeteries, archives, church records, and some great resources available on-line.
Workshop dates are scheduled for Tuesday, March 22, 23, 24at 10:00AM to 12:00AM in the Riverside Conference Room. Pre-registration for the workshop is required with a $10.00 fee to cover the cost of the genealogy workshop notebook.
