“Be Creative @ Your Library” this summer at the

Elizabeth Sewell Parker Memorial Library, member of Albemarle Regional Library,

and explore the worlds of music, dance, art, books, and more.

The 2009 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, story hours, movie time, game night, special performers, and more.

Registration for the Summer Reading Program has begun. For more information, call the library at 398-4494. All programs are free of charge.

July 1, Wednesday Nursery Rhyme Time 10:30AM Ages 2-7

July 6, Monday Origami Class 10:30 AM (Registration Closed)

Ages 6 and up- adults Space Limited-Registration Required! Participants will learn how to make an origami swan. Attendance is required for all three origami classes to complete project.

July 6, Monday Japanese Cultural & Martial Arts with Kenny Buffaloe 2:00PM All Ages

July 7, Tuesday Beading Class 10:30AM Ages 6 and up Registration Required by June 26th
